By state law a physican referral, or prescription, is not required to receive physical therapy care however some insurance plans do require a physician referral. While most health care coverages have provisions for physical therapy we recommend speaking with our office staff who can confirm whether or not physical therapy is covered by your provider. This is very important because ultimately the patient is responsible for the payment of services rendered. Rejection of claims for payment by an insurance company does not relieve a patient of any obligations to pay our clinic or our staff.
Please call our office to confirm that we accept your insurance. Our office staff will make every reasonable effort to work with you, and your providers, to provide excellent physical therapy services and minimize your out of pocket expenses.
